KDI School of Public Policy and Management is a graduate school of policy studies founded in 1997 with the support of the Korean government and is the educational arm of the KDI, the nation’s most respected economic think tank. KDI has consistently contributed to the government’s policy making and implementation, and based on KDI’s four decade long research and development consulting experience, our school has been educating public officials and private sector managers from around the globe by providing strategic tools to deal with the growing complexities of the modern world.
As part of the government’s policy, KDI School relocated its campus to Sejong City, the new administrative center. With this new proximity to government agencies and research institutes in the area, we expect to enjoy various benefits ranging from calm, pleasant living environment to great synergies achieved through interdisciplinary collaborations.
KDI School is committed to establishing a dynamic framework for knowledge-sharing, where outstanding teaching and research can directly support balanced, sustainable growth in the developing world. To this aim we provide a work environment conducive to academic creativity, offering financial support for research and subsidizing trips to overseas conferences. The school provides relocation assistance and faculty housings on a request and availability basis. All Courses are taught in English.
Job Qualifications:
An applicant must have a Ph.D. or should be expecting to receive one by September 2019 or 2020 in one of the above-mentioned academic fields.
Position Description:
KDI School seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position from those with expertise in the areas of either, International Relations, Innovation / Technology Policy and Management, Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development, Any Other Development and Public Policy / Management Related Fields. Candidates from economics, public policy, political science, or other closely related fields are invited to apply. Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong potential for research and teaching performance, and can contribute to and benefit from an interdisciplinary environment and interact with colleagues of other fields of social science in our school.
