The School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) invites applications for two tenure-track positions to begin August, 2020. We seek candidates with strong potential for research productivity, the ability to teach core graduate courses in our programs, and a commitment to the university’s mission of inclusive excellence. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in public management (position 1) and quantitative analysis or program evaluation (position 2).
The teaching load for these position is 2-2, with small classes, a generous course buy-out policy, start-up research funds, and support for external funding proposals through the interdisciplinary Center for Social Science Scholarship. UMBC is a dynamic and growing public research university located in the Baltimore-Washington Corridor.
