The Institute for Advanced Economic Research (IAER) at DUFE invites applications for tenured and tenure-track faculty positions at all levels. The strong candidates for all fields in economics will be considered. Responsibilities include developing a strong research program and teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

Junior tenure-track applicants must show potential for engaging in outstanding research and developing excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, and must have met the requirements for the Ph.D. in Economics or related field by the time of appointment.

Senior applicants will have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment and committed to an active research program. They will have a proven record of mentoring and guiding research of doctoral students, a proven record of excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, a proven commitment to a continuing state-of-the-art research program, and a record of leadership or potential for leadership.

Applications should include a letter of interest, CV, and sample of research work. For the Assistant Professor’s rank at least 3 letters of recommendation, and for the Associate/Full Professor’s rank names and contact information of at least 3 references, need to be submitted.

Applications received before December 10, 2019 will be fully considered. Pre-emptive interviews may be arranged prior to the ASSA meeting in San Diego. Applications received after December 10, 2019 may also be considered until the position is filled.
