Digonex serves the pricing needs of clients in attractions, live entertainment, media and retail through the development of customized algorithms.

Digonex is seeking a candidate with Ph.D. in economics or operations research with a strong background in applied econometrics, statistical methods, industrial organization, and the microeconomics of optimal pricing strategies. The economist will oversee and enhance the implementation of existing algorithms, in addition to developing customized and automated algorithms to optimize pricing.

- Experience developing and implementing demand models and optimization techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team of non-economists
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Stata and/or R

Salary is competitive and will depend on experience. There are two openings: one of them is immediate and the other for next spring/summer. We will start conducting interviews in Fall 2019. We will also interview candidates at the AEA meetings in San Diego CA.
