The Economics Department at Dickinson College invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure track position, beginning Fall 2020. Candidates should have already earned, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. in economics or related field. Dickinson is a liberal arts college emphasizing excellence in teaching and research. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for a diverse student body and demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching are important characteristics of the successful candidate. Teaching responsibilities include intermediate and introductory microeconomics and upper-level electives, which may include, but are not limited to, public finance and labor economics. Potential for research in these or related fields is expected. Ability to teach econometrics and/or mathematical economics is also preferred. The annual teaching load is five courses. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
