The Wesleyan University Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship to begin July 1, 2020 from scholars with primary research interests in applied econometrics and also labor, urban, or education economics. The new faculty member will contribute to the Department's introductory and major core programs. The teaching load is four courses per year. Additional duties include carrying on a program of research, advising and mentoring students, and participating in faculty governance at the departmental and university level.

Candidates must have received a Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment to be hired as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate may be hired as an Instructor if the Ph.D. is not in hand at the time of appointment, but will be completed within one year of hire.
