The Department of Economic Sciences at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) invites applications for two positions. One tenured faculty line at the level of Associate/Full Professor and one tenure track line at the level of Assistant Professor. The positions will be associated with the Computational Justice Lab (CJL), which is a team of computer scientists and economists from across the Claremont Consortium and top research universities, that focuses on empirical issues relating to law and economics. Applicants should have an established publication record and/or promising research that fits the interests of the CJL. Ideal candidates will have expert programming skills in R, Python, SQL, java, or C and some experience with cloud computing languages, although this is not required. Minimum qualifications include a PhD in economics, political science public policy or a related field.
