The Department of Economics is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in Fall 2020.
Qualifications:
Preferred areas of teaching and research are in labor economics. A Ph.D. in economics required. ABDs will be considered with a completion date by February 2021. The successful applicants are expected to be excellent teachers and develop a research program appropriate to the field.
Teaching Responsibilities:
The expected teaching load is 18 credit hours (6 courses) per year. Topics may include Principles of Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Statistics, and other related Courses.
College of Business and Economics:
The College is accredited by AACSB for both its business and accounting programs. It conducts undergraduate business programs with majors/concentrations in an array of business fields and offers a growing number of graduate programs. The College plays a prominent role in providing leadership to local/regional firms, governments, and non-profit organizations.
