The Department of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor. Applicants from any field of economics are welcome, with a preference for candidates within applied economics, particularly empirical IO or empirical macro (both broadly defined). The appointment starts in August 2020.

The tenure-track position has a duration of seven years, a low teaching load, and an internationally competitive salary. The Department of Economics has a bonus system for publications in selected journals, with up to NOK 200,000 per publication (i.e. around USD 22,000). In addition, we provide ample support for research-related activities and conference travels.
