The School of Economics and Finance at Universidad EAFIT in Medellin-Colombia is inviting applications for full-time tenure track or tenured professors in economics and finance, with salary and rank open, to begin in the Fall of 2020 or earlier if possible. Applicants must have a PhD by the starting date or shortly thereafter, and show promise of a strong research agenda.

Economics: Applicants from any field are welcome, including macroeconomics, behavioral economics and applied microeconomics more broadly
Finance: Applicants from any field are welcome

The School is consolidating a research focus and offers generous research accounts on a competitive basis. Teaching assignments are flexible and teaching load reductions are assigned on a competitive basis. Salaries for all ranks are competitive, with possibilities for bonus pays on grants, publications and consultancy. Professors showing promise in their skills will be offered a permanent contract after the first or second year of the starting date.
