The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the entry or advanced Assistant Professor level. We primarily seek candidates conducting high quality empirical research in the fields of Labor Economics, Household and Consumer Finance, and Macroeconomics. Candidates conducting outstanding empirical research in other microeconomic fields, especially Industrial Organization or Development Economics, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates are expected to have completed the Ph.D. in economics by August 15, 2020. Review of applicants will begin on November 20. Applications received by that date are given priority consideration. We will be conducting first-round interviews at the ASSA Meetings in San Diego in January 2020. This position is open until filled.
