The Economics Program in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the area of Labor, emphasizing either Education or Applied Microeconomics. Applicants must have completed their PhD at the time of application, possess evidence of high-quality teaching, and have a record of (or demonstrated potential) for high quality publication. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including a PhD field course in Labor Economics. Preference will be given to candidates with a research agenda that will allow them to take advantage of the Texas Schools Project (https://www.utdallas.edu/ research/tsp-erc/), which is hosted at UT Dallas. In addition, the program is a member of a Research Data Consortium with access to the Census Bureau’s microdata.
