John Cabot University invites applications for an open-rank (assistant or associate) full-time tenure-track faculty position in Economics.
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Economics who are specialized in macroeconomics, finance, banking, and capital markets and have demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, a commitment to academic service, and have experience with the American liberal arts tradition. Candidates are expected to be fluent in English.
Applications should include 1) a cover letter addressing the candidate’s interest and fit for teaching at an American liberal arts college in Rome, their teaching interests and research agenda; 2) curriculum vitae; 3) two research papers; 4) teaching evaluations. Materials should be sent as a single pdf file to financemacrosearch@johncabot.edu . Applicants should arrange for three confidential letters of recommendation to be sent separately to the same email address.
The deadline to submit applications is December 1, 2019. Only short-listed candidates will be notified.
