Asian Development Bank (ADB) is an international development finance institution headquartered in Manila, Philippines. ADB is committed to achieving a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific, while sustaining its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty.

The Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department (ERCD), led by the Bank’s Chief Economist, is supporting the Bank’s mission through providing macroeconomic forecasts, producing statistical databases, undertaking country diagnostic studies and other analytical work on sector and thematic topics, big data analysis, impact evaluation studies and field experiments, and fostering regional cooperation and integration.

During the AEA annual meeting, the Chief Economist and hiring team will conduct interviews to provide career advice and information on ADB vacancies. All interested candidates, whether junior, mid or senior level, are encouraged to apply.

ADB offers competitive remuneration and benefits package. Actual appointment salary will be based on ADB's standards and computation, taking into account the selected individual's qualifications and experience.

Professional experience includes research and teaching experience during graduate school years.
