CEMFI is inviting applications for up to three one-year Postdoctoral Research positions. We welcome applications in any field. The positions are funded by CEMFI's “Maria de Maeztu Unit of Excellence” award, although depending on the profile of the candidates partial funding may be available from the ERC projects of Paula Bustos and Diego Puga.

CEMFI is one of the leading Graduate School in Europe. We offer highly selective Master and PhD programs in Economics and Finance. All teaching is done in English. Our faculty conducts research subject to the highest international standards. We are ranked among the top 1% academic institutions in Europe.

Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the research environment at CEMFI and to participate in our academic activities, as well as to further their own research agenda. They will have no teaching obligations. Candidates should have a PhD in Economics or related fields by the time of appointment. Ideal candidates would have secured an Assistant Professorship or equivalent position by the beginning of their post-doctoral appointment. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.
