University of Michigan’s Survey Research Center (https://www.src.isr.umich.edu/) within the Institute for Social Research invites applications from outstanding candidates with interests in new data sources and uses of big data for conducting social research and measurement for a position in the Research Professor ranks. We seek researchers who would thrive in our entrepreneurial, interdisciplinary, collegial, yet highly autonomous culture. Candidates will be able to pursue their own research interests through external funding and collaborate with other scientists. Candidates will have the opportunity to teach courses and mentor students in the Michigan Program in Survey Methodology (MPSM). Applicants must have a doctoral degree in the social sciences or related disciplines. Individuals from groups historically under-represented in the social sciences are strongly encouraged to apply.
