The Faculty of Economics, Cambridge University has two Postdoctoral Research Fellowships available for candidates working in Networks, crowds and markets and Transmission mechanisms and economic policy who have recently been awarded a doctoral degree or expect to receive their degree by September 2020. The Fellowships are for a period of three years.
The Fellowships will be based at the Cambridge-INET Institute. The Cambridge-INET Institute was created to facilitate critical enquiry and broaden and accelerate the development of economic thinking.
We welcome applications from researchers working on areas related to the below themes of the institute (a non-exclusive list of topics of interest is in parenthesis)
• Networks, crowds and markets (including theoretical, empirical and experimental research)
• Transmission mechanisms and economic policy (including firms and sectors in macroeconomics; households heterogeneity; monetary and fiscal policy in closed and open economies)
Successful candidates who have not yet received their PhD by September 2020 will be employed on University Grade 5 for Research Assistants starting at £26,715 to £30,942 per annum and once awarded their PhD the salary will be upgraded to Grade 7 for Research Associates (Fellowships), starting at £32,816 to £40,322 per annum.
