The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance is seeking an excellent teacher to join our faculty to teach three courses of economics per semester (60% time) for Academic Year 2020-2021. Additional teaching may be available in the summer. Candidates must have a master’s degree in economics. A Ph.D. in economics or a Ph.D. candidate in the final stages of their program are preferred. Evidence of effective teaching at the college level is preferred. We are looking for candidates who relish their time in the classroom, but are interested in maintaining their knowledge through research.

UAH offers the best of both worlds: an academically active and well-published faculty with bright, motivated students (our in-coming freshmen have the highest ACT scores in the state). The College of Business houses a diverse and collegial faculty who frequently engage in cross-disciplinary research, as intellectual curiosity knows no bounds.
