The Department of Economics anticipates an opening for a full time Lecturer for the 2020-21 academic year with a start date of August 24, 2020. Subsequent one year appointments are dependent upon performance and departmental needs. The teaching load is four sections per semester with section sizes between 15 and 45 students. The successful applicant may be asked to teach one or more of the following courses: applied business statistics, principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics or junior and senior level economics classes.

Minimum qualifications for the position are:
• PhD in Economics; ABDs will be considered, so long as it is clear that degree will be conferred by appointment start date.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
• An active research agenda (or ability to otherwise satisfy AACSB accreditations standards).
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
