Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics is seeking to fill a tenure-track position in the area of agricultural financial management, an essential component of modern commercial agriculture in Illinois and the nation.
The candidate will be expected to develop a nationally recognized extension and applied research program in agricultural financial management involving interaction with extension clientele in the commercial agriculture sector, including agricultural finance institutions. The candidate will be expected to be a regular contributor to farmdoc daily (http://farmdocdaily.illinois.edu/). The position will also contribute to the Department’s undergraduate programs by teaching one course per year on agricultural finance, farm management, or other aspects of applied economics.
