The Department of Economics in the UCLA College of Letters and Sciences invites highly qualified applicants for non-senate positions as Lecturers for the 2020-2021 academic year. This is a non-tenure track appointment. Lectureship appointments are part time and made quarter by quarter, as dictated by instructional needs.
Candidates must have at least two years of teaching experience and a demonstrated record of distinguished undergraduate teaching, or proven industry expertise. Applicants must be able to handle a large class environment and prior experience is valued. The department seeks candidates with expertise in the following fields: principles of economics, intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomics, statistics, and econometrics to teach undergraduate courses. Exact courses will be discussed upon review of applications. Upper division elective courses are a possibility.
