The Economics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position in environmental economics at the Assistant Professor level beginning July 1, 2021. Applicants should be committed to excellence in both undergraduate teaching and scholarly research. Successful candidates will teach courses in environmental economics; scholarship in related fields is welcome. The teaching load is 4 courses in the first year and 5 courses thereafter. Institutional service is required after the first year, e.g., academic advising. Ample start-up funds are provided. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or expect to complete all requirements before fall 2021.
We seek candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.
