Full Text of JOE Listing:

Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships in applied economics to start Summer/Fall 2021 and continue for up to two years in our Young Scholars program that supports top early-career economists pursuing policy-relevant research.

The program provides a competitive stipend plus support for travel and research-related expenses. We value diversity in backgrounds and perspectives. Fellows join Stanford’s vibrant economics research community, with opportunities to connect with new collaborators and mentors, and to present and obtain feedback on their research. Fellows should be in an applied policy research area aligning with any of SIEPR’s focal areas(https://siepr.stanford.edu/research/focal-areas), and must have completed their Ph.D. between September 1, 2020 and August 31, 2021.

SIEPR’s mission is to catalyze and promote evidence-based knowledge about pressing economic issues, leading to better-informed policy solutions for generations to come. SIEPR has more than 100 affiliated faculty who represent all seven schools of Stanford, and is located next to the university’s economics department. For more information about SIEPR, visit http://siepr.stanford.edu.
