The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for one tenure-track appointment commencing July 1, 2021 in the Department of Economics at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor subject to budgetary approval.
Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in Economics or be close to completion (i.e., can defend by July 1, 2022). Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of exceptional promise in research and teaching. The successful candidates will be expected to: develop and maintain a productive research agenda; provide effective teaching to undergraduate and MA students; participate in service to the university and the profession. The Department seeks candidates in macroeconomics.

The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics has over one hundred full-time faculty and more than five thousand undergraduate and graduate students.
