Faculty Positions in Finance
The Finance Department at HEC Montréal invites applications for faculty positions at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor starting in the academic year 2021/2022. Candidates are sought in all areas of finance.
Job Qualifications: Candidates should hold a doctorate in Finance or in a related field, or be close to completion. Candidates should be promising scholars. Successful candidates will be expected to publish research in leading journals and to teach high-quality graduate and undergraduate Finance courses.
Job Description: Research publications are financially rewarded based on journal ranking. French is the primary working environment and language of instruction at the School (although many classes at all levels are offered in English and some in Spanish). HEC Montréal provides excellent support (including language teachers and teaching load reduction) to facilitate proficiency in French. The typical teaching load for new professors is 3 semester-courses per year.
