Subject to budgetary authorization, the Department of Economics will consider applications for one position at the assistant professor level to begin July 1, 2021. We invite applications from both new Ph.D.s and individuals a few years post Ph.D.

Applicants in all fields of Economics will be considered.

Completed applications containing a curriculum vitae, sample of research, statement of teaching, and three letters of recommendation should be uploaded electronically via UC Irvine’s online application system, RECRUIT, located at: https://recruit.ap.uci.edu/JPF06409. A separate statement that addresses past and/or potential contributions to diversity, equity and inclusion must also be included in the application materials.

To receive fullest consideration, applications should be received by November 29, although the position will be open until filled. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually starting on January 6, 2021.
