The School of Social Sciences (SSS) offers undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in a full range of disciplines and actively promotes interdisciplinary learning and research.

Full Professor or Associate Professor in Economics

The School of Social Sciences at NTU invites applications for a Full Professor or Associate Professor in Economics. Economics is a major programme in SSS. It attracts excellent students to its BSocSc, MSc and PhD degree programmes, and it also provides General Elective Courses for the entire university.

All fields will be considered but preference will be given to Microeconomic Theory.
The successful applicant should have a distinguished career as an outstanding educator and researcher, and an acknowledged leader in his/her field. Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and public engagement will also be valued. The successful applicant will be expected to oversee curriculum review and reform, drive student recruitment, mentor junior faculty, formulate research strategies, and provide leadership within the subject area and the university community.
