Multiple tenure-track positions are available at the National School of Agricultural Institution and Development (NSAID) at South China Agricultural University. Applicants for all ranks and from all fields are welcome. We especially welcome scholars with excellence in research to apply for senior positions.
NSAID was established in July 2016 and operates under the leadership of Yangtze River Scholar Professor Biliang Luo as the Dean. Over the next several years, NSAID will continue to expand its regular faculty by recruiting new PhDs and senior scholars from overseas, as well as by hosting short-term visits by distinguished professors from world-renowned institutions.
Candidate’s Major Preferred: Agricultural Economics, Microeconomics, Econometrics, etc. No Teaching Requirement for this position. Competitive compensation packages will be provided commensurate with experience including competitive salary, research funds, housing allowances, plus performance bonuses. The first period of engagement is six years. One can apply for inclusion into in-system faculty management if her/his first 3-year midterm performance review is excellent or a 6-year review meets the qualification. An ideal candidate should show a commitment to high-quality research. Candidates for the assistant professor should have a Ph.D. in hand or firmly expected by August 2021.
