The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) is seeking candidates to be employed as Economists. Candidates must demonstrate the potential to contribute substantially to research and policy analyses of interest to CBRT. Successful candidates will be expected to carry out both directed and independent policy-relevant research, and contribute to the formal policymaking process. Additionally, there will be opportunities to work with internationally renowned scholars under CBRT’s research agenda. Strong presentation skills are required along with excellent analytical, quantitative, and written skills. Applicants with research relevant to development and industrial policy, production networks, financial technologies, payments, digital currencies, machine learning, artificial intelligence are of particular interest.

Economists at CBRT are encouraged to present their work at local and international conferences and publish in academic journals.
