Position Vacancy No. 29445 Macroeconomics
The Economics and Econometrics stream within the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics. The appointment may begin on or after July 1, 2021.
Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate teaching, graduate supervision, a productive research program, and service-related activities.
The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Economics or be near completion of the degree, and must be able to demonstrate promise of excellence in teaching and research in macroeconomics. Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervision, PhD examination in macroeconomics, service related activities, and an outstanding, innovative, and, as appropriate, externally funded research program.
