Philip M. Phibbs Professor in Economics
The University of Puget Sound seeks an applied economist to teach and undertake research in macroeconomics. Preference for empirical macroeconomics (C4, N0), macroeconomic policy (E5, E6), money and banking (E4, E5, E6). Secondary fields of interest: history of thought (B1, B2), international economics (F13, F14), welfare, well-being, and poverty (I3). This is a tenure-track, full-time position to begin Fall 2021.
This professorship supports a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position with additional resources to support excellence in teaching and scholarship until they are tenured.
Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred (ABD considered) in Economics.
