The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management and the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University invite applications and nominations for the Owens Professor of International Economics. The appointment to this endowed chair will be at the tenured, full-professor level in the field of international economics (JEL codes F1, F3, F4, Q17, E52, and E58). The Owens Professor of International Economics will hold appointments in both departments. The endowed chair also includes the opportunity to work with the Peterson Institute for International Economics. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional record of publication in high-quality journals, an active research program, and experience in teaching and supervising Ph.D. students.
