Asst/Assoc/Full Professor in Individual and Family Financial Well-Being Policy
North Dakota State University’s Department of Human Development and Family Science, in conjunction with the Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth, invites applications for a nine-month, tenured or tenure-track position, rank open, with a focus area in policy related to individual and family financial well-being, to begin in August 2021. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong program of research related to enhancing economic opportunity and promoting human flourishing through institutions and policies focused on families and children. Possible areas of focus include but are not limited to: consumer policy, family resource management, and starting and sustaining family businesses. The person in this position will also teach undergraduate and graduate courses in personal and family finance and family policy, advise undergraduates and graduate students, and disseminate accessible research-based information and training throughout the state and region. Support associated with the position includes start-up funds, graduate assistantships, course buyouts, and summer research support.
