NYU Shanghai invites applications for an open rank position in Urban Studies. We seek candidates who have received training in a social science discipline and can conduct cutting-edging interdisciplinary research on a variety of urban issues, with a special interest in those whose research incorporates spatial analysis and/or urban data analytics. Preference will be given to those interested in conducting research relevant to the China/Asia context. The successful candidate will contribute to the curriculum development and join a growing interdisciplinary group of faculty and researchers in Urban Studies from the Social Sciences, Humanities, the Arts, Data Science, and Engineering at NYU Shanghai.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, statement of research, statement of teaching interests, and electronic copies of up to three relevant publications or writing samples via Interfolio. Additionally, applicants will be prompted to enter the names and email addresses of at least three referees. Each referee will be contacted to upload a reference letter through Interfolio.
