Full Text of JOE Listing:
The School of Public Economics and Administration (SPEA) at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) invites applications for full-time tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of public administration and management, nonprofit management, public policy, public economics, taxation, and social security. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or anticipate Ph.D. completion by August 2021 in public economics, public administration and management, public policy, public finance and budgeting, or related fields.
SUFE, founded in 1917, is considered among the top tier universities in China for its academic excellence. SPEA is a top school in the area of public economics and finance in China. SPEA is a NASPAA accredited school and is the first Public Administration School in China to adopt tenure-track system to recruit faculties.
We would welcome applicants across different research specializations. It is important that applicants demonstrate the capacity to establish a research agenda that will lead to scholarly publications. In addition to producing quality scholarship and effective teaching, responsibilities will include participation in department, school and university service and related professional activities.
Salary and benefits are competitive. The recruiting will continue until the position is filled.
