I seek a full-time Research Analyst for one to three years, beginning between fall 2020 and fall 2021.

The position includes work with faculty collaborators at other top universities on energy/environmental, public finance, and trade/international economics.

Candidates should have a long-term interest in pursuing research related to economics. This position is ideal for candidates looking to develop their empirical research skills in preparation for applying to PhD programs in economics or related fields. Prior background in environmental/energy is not necessary.

A BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related required; previous experience as a research analyst or pursing independent research preferred; computer-programming skills are necessary.

Some projects involve confidential Census data, which requires applicants to be U.S. citizens or have resided in the U.S. for the last three years. The position is in Berkeley, CA.
