Professor Costas Arkolakis and Dr. Sun Kyoung Lee of the at Yale University Economics Department are seeking a FULL-TIME research assistant for 1 to 2 years, beginning as soon as possible. We work on a number of projects related to economic geography using machine-learning, big data and digitized historical data.
You will work on projects related to spatial economics. The work will be highly empirical nature, and require coding in PYTHON, STATA, MATLAB, and R and GIS software. The position will be active from July 1, 2021 to June30, 2022 but start, end dates and duration are negotiable. We are looking for candidates post-undergraduate who intend to pursue a PhD in economics or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Start Date – July 1, 2021 (negotiable) Location – New Haven, CT
