Transfer pricing is a multi-disciplinary field integrating economics with business, legal, and tax issues. Principal elements of transfer pricing consulting include analysis of business operations and market environment, planning for operational restructuring, technology and intangible valuation, dispute resolution, and advanced negotiation of pricing policies with tax authorities. Please note that no prior accounting experience is necessary. Positions within the Transfer Pricing practice may on occasion require travel to client sites in the United States.
The PwC Transfer Pricing Practice (http://www.pwc.com/tp), a group of over 450 professionals in the United States and over 3,100 professionals globally, is currently seeking new and experienced Ph.D. economists for positions in major cities around the United States. The PwC Transfer Pricing Practice in the United States currently employs more than 75 Ph.D. economists.
