The Department of Health Policy and Management in the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health seeks applications for a tenure-stream faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor. The Department embraces a broad view of the potential for health policy to advance social justice and improve the public’s health. Our faculty engages in research and evaluation work in areas including Medicare and Medicaid policy, healthcare markets and financing, mathematical modeling, cancer health services, substance use and mental health, aging and long-term care, and women’s and gender health. The successful applicant will be a health services researcher or health economist who can develop an extramurally funded research program, collaborate across departments and schools, and teach and mentor students in advanced health economics.
