About the role
The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London invites applications from scholars of international distinction for appointments at the rank of Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in econometrics; finance; or macroeconomics with expertise in international economics or monetary economics.
About You
You will be expected to contribute significantly to the development of the School’s research strategies, to be active in attracting research income and generating research impact, and to play a full role in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. You must have a postgraduate degree (or be close to completion for Lecturer level applicants) and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience, together with a track record of high-quality research appropriate to the level of appointment, and clear and ambitious plans for future research. You should also have experience of, delivering teaching and assessment.

The posts are based at the Mile End Campus in London. They are full time, permanent appointments, with an expected start date of September 2021. Salaries are competitive and not less than £42,433 per annum (Lecturer) inclusive of London Allowance. In addition, these posts attract market supplements and there is discretion to apply between 35% and 50% of salary depending on current market conditions.
