We are especially interested in candidates who could be embedded within our applied welfare economics research grouping. The group’s focus is on individual choice and behavioural change in the context of public goods. Particular interests include environment, health, transport and safety. The group benefits from a dedicated behavioural economics laboratory, has a long-standing international research reputation and a strong track record of policy impact in mortality and morbidity risk valuation.
The Economics Group within Newcastle University Business School has over 30 full-time research and teaching staff. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality and attract high qualified students to our undergraduate and research postgraduate programmes.
