The Economics program in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences invites applications for a tenure-system assistant professor in the area of Applied Microeconomics. Only candidates with research in the areas of public, health, crime, urban, or cybersecurity will be considered. Applicants must have completed their PhD at the time of application, possess evidence of high-quality teaching, and have a record of (or demonstrated potential) for high quality publication.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate through graduate courses and advise PhD students. Candidates should also identify whether their research agenda allows them to take advantage of UTD’s affiliation with the Census Research Data Center (RDC) housed at the Dallas Fed.
