The Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in International Development. The successful candidate will produce empirical economic research to inform policymaking in low- and middle-income countries, with an aim to publish in high-quality academic journals (general interest and/or development). The ideal candidate will be someone who pays attention to details and values rigor. Teaching will be optional. The position is open to a candidate who has recently earned a Ph.D. in Economics, Public Policy, or other quantitative social sciences relevant to international development. Command of applied econometrics methods is expected (e.g. quasi-experimental methods, RCTs, administrative data, survey methods, etc…), and so are written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate is expected to participate in the research activities of The Ford Program in Human Development Studies and Solidarity.
