The Department of Economics at the University of Florida invites applications for a tenure track nine-month appointment at the Assistant Professor rank in Applied Econometrics working with big data, machine learning, or artificial intelligence to begin August 16, 2021. The Department welcomes applications from junior and advanced Assistant Professor candidates and will consider a wide range of fields, including but not limited to development, industrial organization, international trade, macroeconomics, and public economics. The successful candidate is expected to engage in undergraduate, masters, and doctoral teaching and to conduct independent research leading to publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package.
