The mission of the Division of Health Care Policy and Research (HCPR) is to improve health care services, organization, and policy through research and education. Faculty members investigate how healthcare delivery and value are influenced by health care organization, reimbursement, and quality improvement/measurement approaches. An experienced researcher is sought to enhance the advancement of economic sciences in health policy and research. In addition to grant funded projects, HCPR pursues federal and state contracts that represent unique opportunities for funding acquisition. Successful candidates will have at least three years of postdoctoral research experience and graduate training in economics, health services research, public policy, or a closely related discipline. Candidates with experience in managing technical and budget performance of research programs and a record of successful involvement in external funding acquisition are strongly preferred.
