The Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo invites applications for non-tenure track assistant professor positions in economics. Applicants in all fields of Economics will be considered. We are particularly looking for applicants in microeconomic theory, macroeconomics, and empirical microeconomics (IO, labor, trade, development, urban, environment, and health).
The successful candidate will conduct research and teach at Faculty of Economics of the University of Tokyo. The positions are for 7 years with an initial 3-year appointment followed by a non-renewable 4-year term subject to a successful midterm review. The obligations in the first three years are comparable to the ones for postdoctoral fellows.
