Drs. Tatyana Deryugina, Nolan Miller, David Molitor, Julian Reif, and the Center for Business and Public Policy (CBPP) at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois are seeking to hire a Post-Doctoral Scholar in the areas of Environmental or Health Economics. This is a twelve-month position during which the scholar will work with the CBPP research team. Renewal for a second year is dependent upon performance and securing additional funding. Scholars should expect to work on both independent and co-authored/group projects during their time at the University of Illinois.
Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in economics or a closely related discipline by the start date of the position and demonstrate evidence of conducting research broadly aligned with the interests of the CBPP. Applicants should have strong empirical, writing, and communication skills and be comfortable working with large datasets.
