Visiting Assistant Professor in Business & Environment
Duke University, Nicholas School of the Environment

The Nicholas School of the Environment (NSOE) at Duke University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor in Business & Environment to start August, 2021. This is two-year non-regular rank term position. Applicants should have a DBA or a PhD in a business-relevant field with a focus on corporate social responsibility, supply chain management, strategy, systems analysis, operations, management, or marketing. Professional work experience in the private sector is highly desirable. Applicants must be available to begin teaching in the 2021 fall semester, with a flexible start date to allow preparation of courses.

Responsibilities include: 1) teaching up to 3 courses in NSOE’s two-year professional Masters of Environmental Management program; and 2) advising Master’s projects. Specific courses will include an introductory course on business and environment and two additional courses that cover more advanced topics, such as sustainable business strategy, life cycle analysis, sustainable systems analysis, or environmental and social governance.
