As an Associate Director, Health Economic Modeling, you will formulate our HEOR strategies and models and ensure implementation. We collaborate with our cross functional and business partners to develop and support compelling product value propositions to optimize access, reimbursement and uptake.
A typical day may include:
Delivering high quality evidence synthesis projects such as systematic reviews, meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparison). Collaborate in the development of observational research studies including claims data, patient-reported outcomes (PRO) studies, cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.
Identifying HEOR evidence requirements and gaps, and design, conduct, and deliver studies and tools to support relative value demonstration and product differentiation.
Provide strategic input and HEOR evidence to support our commercial and Government relations lobbying efforts and legislative initiatives on access and reimbursement issues across regions.
Develop and execute our global and regional strategies and programs to advise, support and strengthen commercialization activities, including marketing, global and US market access and clinical development.
Provide timely and strategic recommendations to by identifying appropriate comparators, target patient populations, and end-points for the purpose of relative value demonstration.
Lead, build and execute research partnerships with key global and US national and regional health care industry organizations. These would include: managed care, PBMs, pharmacy, IDNs, medical groups, and health care policy think-tanks/opinion leaders.

Have the innate ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives, prioritize them and execute them independently
To be considered for this, a Ph.D., MD or PharmD with 6 + years experience or a Master’s degree with 4 + years experience is required. Your education needs to be in an HEOR-related field (e.g. health economics, epidemiology, health services research, public health or policy). Experience is required from the pharmaceutical or HEOR industry
Strong technical expertise required in design and conduct of HEOR evidence synthesis projects, with excellent knowledge of pair-wise and network meta-analysis and population adjusted indirect comparisons; This is also required to fulfill the guidelines (ISPOR) and HTA regulatory submissions (NICE) strongly preferred.
