UW-Madison Department of Economics invites applications for an assistant professor position in International/Macroeconomics focusing on finance/monetary policy. Ph.D. specializing in International/Macro/Monetary Economics required prior to employment starting August 2021. Applicants should have one or more publications in top tier journal(s) with additional research for potential of making a lasting impact on specialization field. Applicant should have proven excellent teaching ability at undergraduate/graduate levels. Successful candidate will assume responsibility for developing and teaching undergraduate/graduate courses; supervise graduate student thesis activities; share in development and directing department programs; serve on departmental committees; publish independent scholarly research in nationally/internationally recognized journals which leads to national recognition; participate in departmental academic and administrative affairs; perform university, national and international public service.
